Our Team

I grew up in Anchorage and Bethel, Alaska, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Pacific Lutheran University. My plethora of experiences in the education, medical, financial, and nonprofit sectors allows me to see intersectional connections and network across fields to bring innovative energy towards building an equitable 21st century. My idea of a good day at the office includes: authentic connections, some challenge, possibly positive policy change, at least one person believing in themselves more than yesterday, and laughing over snacks.

I was born and raised in Ketchikan, Alaska. I attended Otis Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles, earning a fine arts Degree in Photography. I finished a Bachelor in Multimedia Design with Art Institute of Pittsburgh. After a 20-ton boulder changed my life forever in 1995, I produced a show called Look, See, and Hear, which spoke to the stigma people living with disabilities face daily. I spent the pandemic documenting the Black Lives Matter, MMIW, Women’s rights, LGBTQAI+ and other demonstrations in the community.

I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and settled there to raise my human and furry family. My dreams became a reality when I opened a ballroom dance studio, after years of teaching dance. I like to spend time with my children and enjoy doing crafts.
